Are you an assignment dropper?

The ministers of the ministerial fellowship I am a part of had a powerful prayer and mentoring session last night. We studied in depth the power of the seemingly simplest prayer in the bible -- Matthew 6:9-12:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

There is no way that I could ever review what we studied last night as the revelation was too deep, and the discussion immensely humbling. But I can tell you this: When I left there, I left wondering how much of God's "will" has really been done through my life in heaven and in earth.

With that thought in mind, I want you to consider these two things:

1. Heaven is perfect.
2. When we pray for God's will to be done in earth as IT IS IN heaven, we are praying for heaven's perfection to reign in and through our lives according to the will of God.

Now I want you to consider these things:

1. What things have "you said" God told you to do for yourself, for others and you have not done them? (Did God lie? Did you lie on God or are you dropping your assignment?)

2. How many "God-ordained" projects have you started and FAILED to complete?

3. Can you earnestly look at yourself and say God's "will" is being done IN earth through me AS IT IS in heaven?

4. Have your WANTS AND DESIRES superceded the WILL of God?

These questions are not necessarily for posting here, but for you to seriously ponder IN EARNESTY AND SECRECY before God. There are many, some here in this group, who become angry when they are reminded by the Lord or others what they are supposed to be doing for the Kingdom. Some are so pious that they believe they have ALREADY arrived in this area... and are doing God's will. Many don't even realize that once ounce of a rebellion in an army - -can cost the entire squad their lives.

There are leaders in the body who are giving our STRATEGIC ORDERS, but because the SOLDIERS did not hear these orders from God first ... they fail to "fall in line." Can you be in the will of God ... if your heart is in a place of secret rebellion? Can the WILL OF GOD be done in YOUR EARTH as it is in heaven?

Heaven is PERFECT! This means that God desires to bring his perfection into the earth realm. A soulish, intellectual person would say, "No one's perfect," and be okay with that. I say to you, "LEAVE THEM IN THE DARKNESS THEY EMBRACE AND FOLLOW GOD!"

Don't be an assignment dropper! Follow God ... it is in the assignment that you will find his perfect will for your life and be established. I pray that this connects with those who have an ear to hear what the spirit of the Lord is saying to his church. Don't allow YOU to rob yourself of your very own destiny....
